New Delhi : The 5G spectrum auction has ended recently. The three major telecom companies in the country have been testing 5G networks for the past two years and now Airtel (Airtel), Geo (Jio), Vodafone Idea 5G Launch (5G in India) are ready to do. After the spectrum auction, Jio had said that it will celebrate the elixir of independence by launching a 5G network. After Jio, Airtel has also made a similar statement. In such a situation, there is a possibility that 5G of Jio and Airtel will be launched today i.e. on 15th August. Vodafone Idea has not yet made any such statement regarding the 5G launch. Advance payment option
Telecom giant Sunil Bharti Mittal’s Bharti Airtel bought spectrum worth Rs 43,084 crore, while Vodafone Idea bought spectrum worth Rs 18,799 crore. Spectrum purchasers have the option of paying the entire amount upfront in addition to paying in 20 equal annual installments.
If payment is to be made in installments….
If all the successful bidders decide to pay in installments, the government will get Rs 13,412.58 crore on the due date. In this, Reliance Jio will have to pay Rs 7,864.78 crore. Adani Data Network will have to pay Rs 18.94 crore, Bharti Airtel Rs 3,848.88 crore and Vodafone Idea Rs 1,679.98 crore.
5G service in one month
Minister of State for Telecom Devusinh Chouhan said on Monday that 5G services can be launched in the country within a month. Chauhan expressed this expectation while addressing the inauguration ceremony of International Telecommunication Union’s Regional Standardization Forum (RSF) for the Asia and Oceania region.
