YouTube channels blocked: Big action by Ministry of Information and Broadcasting; Know why | 8 YouTube channels blocked by government, know the reason why they were blocked

Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has blocked 8 YouTube channels (YouTube channels blocked) has been done. Under the IT Act 2021, this action has been taken and includes 7 Indian and 1 Pakistan-based channel. 8 YouTube channels spreading disinformation related to India’s national security, foreign relations and public order have been banned by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting (Ministry of Information and Broadcasting) are blocked. These 8 blocked YouTube channels had a viewership of over 114 crores and a subscriber base of over 85 lakhs (Subscriber base) was supposed to be. A statement issued by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting said that the information shown by this channel was false and sensitive from the perspective of national security and India’s friendly relations with foreign states. Even earlier, the central government had taken action against many such channels. In April 2022, the central government blocked a total of 22 channels, including 4 Pakistani YouTube channels.

7) Sab Kuch Dekho Views : 32,86,03,227 Subscribers : 19.40 Lakhs

Even earlier the government had blocked the channels –

The central government has taken action against hundreds of YouTube channels and social media accounts since December, blocking them. In the month of April, the government had blocked 22 channels. The Department of Information and Broadcasting explained that the IT Rules, 2021 were used to shut down these channels which were used to create an anti-India atmosphere and in fact to defame India. Now the government has taken another big action and blocked 8 more channels.
