Tata Motors is all set to launch the EV version of the first Tata Ultras hatchback of both the cars. The car is expected to launch later this year. The Tata Ultras EV was first showcased during the 2020 Auto Expo. But later the corona infection increased and the production of this car seems to have been delayed to some extent.

Production of cars that have been pending for the last few years has now started smoothly. But due to the shortage of chipsets, it has been disrupted again. For the last one to two years, the car market around the world has been facing problems with chipsets.
The EV segment is the smallest
The EV segment is much smaller than the petrol-diesel engine. There are many options available in petrol and diesel. Such options are not available in the EV segment. So far only Tata Motors has a few options available in EV cars. According to Gadivadi’s report, Tata Motors Ultros EV can offer a driving range of 300 km on a single charge.
Possible features of Tata Ultras
The Tata Ultras EV will also feature the same features as the ICE models. It has a seven inch infotainment. In which, Android Auto and Car Play will get support. It will have a semi digital instrument. Similarly, automatic climate controls will be provided. It also has Z Connect car technology.
