What’s new in Firefox 154?
For Windows users, Firefox 154 now offers game streaming via Nvidia GeForce Now, which can save on the cost of expensive hardware. Also limited to Windows for now is the option to choose a different app icon for Firefox, as is already available on Android and iOS. (macOS and Linux are set to follow later.) Options include the old Firefox icons from 2004 and 2017, a rainbow-style icon (“Pride”), and bonus icons.
On all platforms, skipping to a different part of a video should now be faster. And while the translation feature for web pages previously relied on information provided by the website itself regarding the language used, Firefox now performs its own language detection. This means that content from iframes is now also translated. If you add websites to the exception list for deleting cookies and website content, they are no longer automatically excluded from tracking protection.
The free built-in VPN, introduced with Firefox 149, continues to offer a selection of virtual locations—temporarily extended to 28 countries until the end of August—with unlimited data. The free VPN is currently available to Firefox users in the US, Canada, the UK, France, and Germany. In addition, the free VPN can now also be used in Firefox for Android (rolling out gradually) with iOS to follow soon.

Firefox ESR browser updates
In addition to Firefox 154.0, the ESR releases 153.1.0, 140.14.0, and 115.39.0 are also available. However, the latter are only available for Windows 7 and 8.1, and macOS 10.12 to 10.14.
