Now Paytm has started this technology on its platform. Paytm is a payment app used by most of the users in India. The number of people making payments through this method is also the highest. Therefore, this new technology is going to benefit. Paytm users will not face any problem during peak transactions due to this facility. Through this, UPI Lite users can make “quick and seamless transactions” up to Rs 200 at a time. No PIN will be asked for payment in Paytm wallet. Users can transfer UPI balance from one account to another without any charge. Paytm is the first third party UPI payment platform to support UPI Lite. The company claims that you can do real time transactions through this app.

How to set up UPI light

• First of all open Paytm app
• Then on the home page you will see the option ‘Setup UPI Lite’. Click on it.
• Now select the bank account and connect it with UPI Lite.
• Click on Proceed option to setup UPI Lite.
• Now add money to UPI Lite. In this you can deposit amount from 1 rupee to 2000 rupees.
• Once this amount is set, you can start using UPI Lite to make payments.

• Scan the QR code or select the person from the contact list to whom you want to make the payment.
• After that click how much money you want to transfer
• Click on Pay Securely option.
• The amount set by you will be transferred instantly. No need to enter any UPI PIN for this.
