I’ve been waiting for OLED gaming monitors to smash through a $400 floor, and it looks like they have in mid 2026. After Dell and Alienware turned every head with their 27-inch, $350 OLED, we’re now seeing other major brands follow suit and drop their prices accordingly. To wit: Here’s an Acer Predator monitor with almost exactly the same specs at $349.99 on Amazon.
The Predator X27U monitor is a familiar sight if you’ve looked into monitors, and to be honest, it’s a bit basic. No USB extras, no fancy rear lighting. It’s just a monitor, though the double DisplayPort and HDMI connections plus a headphone jack are appreciated. (The built-in speakers are not.) But at this price — $200 off retail, according to the listing — there’s nothing to complain about. You get a 27-inch QD-OLED panel at the current 2560×1440 (1440p) “sweet spot” for PC gaming, with a 240Hz refresh rate that should be enough for all but the sweatiest of esports players.
Gamers will also be glad to hear that the response time is lightning fast at .03 miliseconds, and the monitor supports AMD FreeSync Premium. It also comes with a three-year warranty against burn-in for the panel specifically, which should be a comfort if you’re worried. I’d use the savings to add on a VESA monitor arm, especially since the port placement will be a little weird for cable routing.
Amazon isn’t calling this a limited-time sale or anything, so I don’t know how long it will last. If you can’t get an order in quickly, B&H Photo is currently matching the $350 Amazon price. I’d also recommend picking up a VESA monitor arm, because the one that Acer includes is pretty barebones.
