Anker’s clever power bank with built-in cable is just $20 for Prime Day
Anker’s Zolo power bank is only $19.99 this Prime Day, which is only the third time it’s hit this price in the past two years. With a typical street price of $30 this year, that’s a solid discount for a highly portable power bank with a standout feature.
The Anker Zolo is a head-turner thanks to its built-in USB-C cable that’s 5.4 inches long. It provides 30W of charging and can survive thousands of bends, meaning it’ll fast-charge your phone while on the go, you won’t have to pack a separate cable, and you won’t have to worry about babying it to make sure it doesn’t break prematurely. When not in use, the cable plugs back into the power bank and turns into a handy carrying strap, which you can hook onto a bag or loop for convenience.
With its 10,000mAh capacity, the Anker Zolo packs enough power to fully charge a modern phone about two full times, give or take. That 30W fast charging is quick, too, able to juice up a phone from zero to 50% in about half an hour. Or use it with your tablet, wireless earbuds, or whatever else charges via USB-C. Want to charge two devices at once? The Zolo has an extra USB-C port for that, which is great as long as you have a spare charging cable on you.
As awesome as it is, the Zolo is the wrong power bank for you if you need it for extended trips (like week-long cruises or multi-day camping trips), which are better served with higher capacity power stations. It’s also not a good fit for laptop charging, which are better served with power banks that supply at least 65W or 100W. It can also be awkward to charge while using your phone due to the cable’s short length.
Drawbacks aside, the Anker Zolo is an excellent day-to-day power bank for your phone thanks to that built-in cable, especially for $20. If you’re a power user with heavy usage, you might even prefer to opt for the larger 20,000mAh version of the Anker Zolo.
