Apple: No more credit-debit card payments on ‘Apple’, new ‘transaction’ option for users | Apple will no longer accept credit or debit card payments in India

New Delhi: Apple, the world’s leading smartphone maker, offers Indian credit and debit cards (Credit and Debit card) Payment option is denied. The Reserve Bank has changed its policy regarding UPI based payments. Apple has since flatly refused to accept payments through Indian credit or debit cards. Therefore, customers who use Apple’s services will no longer have to use Apple Fund (Apple fund) This service has to be accepted. This will open the door for customers to subscribe to Apple services. Separate Apple ID for Apple iPad or Apple iPhone users (Apple ID) Have to be created. Separate settings will be required for this on Apple devices and it will be mandatory to submit bank details along with it.

‘Apple’ users angry-

If any customer wants to subscribe to services like Apple Music or Apple TV, Apple has developed a separate transaction method. Previously, credit or debit cards as well as UPIs were allowed. Meanwhile, various Apple customers had launched a campaign on Twitter against the new decision. Consumers are facing many difficulties due to the new decision.

New RBI rules

The RBI took important decisions last October. Accordingly, it is prohibited to accept payment by debit-credit or UPI for auto recurring option. Therefore, Apple has decided to adopt alternative transaction methods.

Here’s how to make a payment:

An appeal has been made through the company’s support page to avail Apple services by depositing the fund balance in Apple ID. Some transactions are likely to be rejected. No separate equipment will be required for this. Apple has made it clear through the blog that all the information is available on the payment section for contactless payments.
