Asus’ 32-inch 4K QD-OLED monitor just dropped $200 below its all-time low

Asus’s 32-inch ROG Swift 4K OLED monitor is down to $899 from $1,299.99 at Amazon right now. Not only is this the first time it’s gone this low, but it’s a huge drop from its previous all-time low of $1,099.99.
The Asus ROG Swift PG32UCDMR stands out for its combination of 32-inch QD-OLED panel and 3840×2160 (4K) resolution. That OLED panel ensures vibrant colors, true blacks, and no backlight bleed, but you’ll need to be mindful of OLED burn-in. The 240Hz refresh rate looks smoother than 144Hz panels, and the 0.03ms response time means you won’t see ghosting with fast-moving objects. If you have a powerful GPU that can push 4K at high frame rates, this is the kind of screen that will take full advantage of it.
It’s even good to use with a gaming laptop, thanks to its USB-C video port with 90 watts of power delivery. That means you can connect it and keep your laptop charged through a single port.
At $899, this isn’t an impulse buy. If you just want OLED visuals and don’t have the hardware for 4K/240Hz gaming, you’re better off with a cheaper option at half the price (see best gaming monitors). But if you want the high-end performance at a deep discount, the Asus ROG Swift 4K OLED is a solid pick now that it’s $400 off.
