Whether you’re looking to relax with your favorite book or listen to Spotify without being interrupted by the whirring of your neighbor’s leaf blower, you’ll need a pair of good headphones to block out the world. You can grab the Bose QuietComfort 2nd gen for $199 right now, which is a 45 percent discount off of its $359 MSRP.
Bose is known for its noise-canceling technology, so these headphones are bound to meet expectations. As the name suggests, they’re also extremely comfortable to wear throughout the day. For those times when you need to be more aware of your surroundings? The Quiet Comfort 2 comes with a dedicated mode that lets outside sound in. If you’re looking for a truly immersive experience, you can plug them in with a USB-C for high-fidelity sound.
The battery lasts up to 24 hours with noise cancelling on, but you’ll get even more listening time if you switch it off occasionally. And if you need a quick recharge, just 15 minutes plugged in will give you an extra 2.5 hours of listening.
There’s one small caveat, though. The $199 price applies only to the Green, Mint, and Taupe models. If you prefer the other colors, you’ll pay $219 (which is still $140 off). The Mint model looks absolutely gorgeous.
