TRUE CALLER: Central government’s soon ‘indigenous true-caller’ system, pressure on private companies? | Central government decides to set up technology similar to true caller soon

New Delhi- Users have been greatly benefited by the fact that the name of a stranger who is not in the contact list flashes on the mobile screen before picking up the phone. True-Caller Using Information Technology (True CallerThe system developed by companies like) is becoming a topic of discussion. Meanwhile, the central government is preparing to set up a parallel system in this regard soon. Union Ministry of Telecommunications (DOIT) Has undertaken activities on an experimental basis. If the central government’s policy is implemented, the services of companies like True-Caller will be restricted. The center will set up separate regulations to prevent misuse of customer information. Name registered at KYC only (Registered Number) Will be able to flash on the mobile screen.
