NEW EASTENDERS star Clara, played by Emily Eaton Plowright, made her show debut last week as Frankie Lewis’ old university pal.
However, the actress who plays the role brilliantly is from acting royalty.
Emily’s great aunt is the legendary actress Dame Joan Plowright, a star of stage and screen for over seven decades.
Among her successes, Dame Joan won two Golden Globe Awards and a Tony Award and was nominated for an Academy Award, an Emmy and two BAFTAs.
In 1961, Joan Plowright married Sir Laurence Olivier, himself an actor who dominated the British theatre scene in the mid 20th century.
He was the founding director of the National Theatre and starred in many classic films.
Emily appears to have got her acting ability passed down to her as there is a rich history within her family.

Coronation Street: Summer suffers terrible blow to her self confidence

She opens up to him about her eating disorder, but when he doesn’t react the way she expects, she is left heartbroken.
While Aaron supports Summer with her diabetes, he was shocked to learn about her struggles with bulimia and tells her they can’t continue their friendship outside of the group.
It is clear Summer is left feeling lonely and out of sorts.
Cain and Al’s feud coms to a head on Emmerdale this week
The two absolutely despise one another and have set out to cause trouble any way they can.
Al has reason to believe that Cain has sabotaged his car after servicing it and is fuming at the dangerous state the engine is left in.
Cain drives Al’s car to prove there is nothing wrong with it, straight towards Al.

Corrie: Sean’s son set to return to the cobbles
In 2007, Sean agreed to be a donor for Violet, so she could have a baby of her own.
Violet departed Weatherfield when Dylan was just small. Sean has not had much opportunity to bond with his son, after Jamie and Violet planned their move behind Sean’s back, and cut all ties with him.
The pair struggled to build a connection in 2020, when Dylan came to stay. He found it hard to come to terms with his dad’s sexuality, after being picked on my homophobes at school.
But it seems the pair will have another shot at building their relationship, as Dylan returns back into his dad’s life again.

In 2020 she rebranded herself as a lifestyle guru and launched her own wellness Instagram page Good and Proper.
On March 17, 2021, Patsy hit the headlines when she stormed off a GMB interview while promoting her brand, after they labelled her as being an “addict to wellness guru”, which was in reference to her past trouble with drugs and alcohol.
Patsy also works as a DJ in America.’

Peter Barlow ARRESTED after lashing out at doctor
TENSIONS boil over on the cobbles this week as Peter Barlow gets arrested on suspicion of assault.
After finding out about Dr Thorne’s bet on his life, Peter angrily demands an apology.
Peter vows to put a stop to his abuse of power – but nothing goes according to plan.
Peter comes across Dr Thorne in a restaurant and approaches him, only to be taunted by the doctor.
A furious Peter takes things to another level by punching Dr Thorne.
Unfortunately for him, the police soon come to the surgeon’s rescue and arrest him on suspicion of assault, and Peter is soon charged while at the police station.
