Explore Reddit like never before with this interactive map

The map is built from around 1.5 billion Reddit comments, which makes for a more nuanced and accurate picture of relationships rather than an algorithmic guess at which topics belong together. And you might be surprised at how some of the neighbors are ones you’d never predict—quizzically looking at you Twitter and FBI subreddits.

The map is fully interactive so you can click and drag to move around, zoom in, or use the search bar to find a specific subreddit. If you click on a community dot, you’ll get some more information plus links to all of the related subreddits.

Personally, I’ve used it to discover a ton of subreddits devoted to hobbies I didn’t even know were a thing. Ever heard of r/BirdsWithArms? Or how about r/HaveWeMet?

Reddit is a weird and wonderful place, but sometimes you need a map to find your way.
