Old photos will also be blocked

This new ‘Take It Tool’ will also help to delete nude photos that have already been uploaded on this social media platform and prevent them from spreading on the internet. Nude content is circulating rapidly on social media these days. People are being blackmailed by it. The number of internet users in India is huge. Some of them have a high population under the age of eighteen. Children use the Internet more. They can easily fall into any trap. Those people are more likely to abuse them easily. But now it has to be reined in.

Launch in India later this year

With the help of ‘Take It Down’ tool, if any user reports a photo, a digital fingerprint of that photo will be created. Which are called Hashes. So it will be converted to photo code. So no person will be able to see that photo. A special feature of this tool is that after reporting a photo at a time, it will not open all the photos that are available on similar platforms. That means it will be blocked. If someone tries to upload that photo, it will not be possible. Meta said that the tool will be launched in India later this year, and the regional language will also see the change in the coming years.

There is a problem with this

One problem with this tool is that if someone saves a nude photo, edits it, uploads it again and circulates, the image will not be blocked, because the tool will treat that image as a new image. And will not recognize. So you have to re-report that image so it won’t circulate.
