Amarjeet Singh and his wife was searching for IFB dishwasher customer service number on Google. His wife retrieved the number 1800258821 from an online search, which was present on Google in the name of IFB customer care.

However, this number was now seen as Bandhan Bank’s customer service. The victim said that when his wife called the number, a woman picked up the phone and asked her superior to connect the call.

After this, the alleged senior Adhi asked his wife to download the Anydesk app on the phone and asked him for some details. After this, the thugbaza asked the woman to make a transaction of Rs 10, so that a complaint could be lodged.

During the process, the fraudsters’ calls were cut several times and they continuously called the victim from a personal number. At 4.15 pm on the same day, a transaction of Rs 2.25 lakh was made from the account of the elderly couple. The next morning, he saw another message, in which a transaction of 5.99 lakhs was made.

Whenever a customer searches online, he comes across this fake number. If a person calls that fake number and falls for their scams, your account can be emptied. To protect yourself from such scams, you should be careful while searching for numbers online.

Rather than calling any number, get the customer care number from the company’s official website. Never download dangerous apps on your personal device. Keep in mind that the customer care center never takes any money from you.
