After this, the alleged senior Adhi asked his wife to download the Anydesk app on the phone and asked him for some details. After this, the thugbaza asked the woman to make a transaction of Rs 10, so that a complaint could be lodged.
During the process, the fraudsters’ calls were cut several times and they continuously called the victim from a personal number. At 4.15 pm on the same day, a transaction of Rs 2.25 lakh was made from the account of the elderly couple. The next morning, he saw another message, in which a transaction of 5.99 lakhs was made.
The victim informed both the police and the bank about the matter. After this, his joint account was frozen. However, by then it was too late and a lot of money was diverted from his account.

This case of online fraud is not new. Such cases have been seen many times before. Actually, scammers often register many fake numbers on online platforms under the name of customer service.

Rather than calling any number, get the customer care number from the company’s official website. Never download dangerous apps on your personal device. Keep in mind that the customer care center never takes any money from you.
