VOTING is open for FIFA 23’s Team of the Year (TOTY), and many people are hoping their favourites make it.
Each chosen player will receive a special FIFA Ultimate Team (FUT) card with a huge boost to their ratings.
There are 11 spots available, one for each position on the pitch.
Here’s who we think will make the top cut in FIFA 23’s TOTY.
Courtois won the position of goalie in FIFA 22’s TOTY, and we think he will take it this year too.
A former Atletico Madrid and Chelsea player, he helped Real Madrid win both the Champions League and La Liga.
He’s the best goalie in FIFA 23, and we think this will be enough to send the voting his way.
Hakimi has had a huge impact on PSG’s success, helping bring France’s reigning champions to victory.
His lightning-fast speed has made him a popular player in FIFA 23, and we think a lot of players will choose him.
Morocco’s shocking fourth-place performance at the World Cup only helps secure this prediction.
Militão has been at the top of his game since moving to Real Madrid, despite being met with scepticism.
He’s a little clumsy, but his speed and physique have helped him win the hearts of fans.
Real Madrid winning the last Champions League will only help his chances.
Virgil Van Dijk
The first Premier League player on this list, Van Dijk is considered one of the best defenders in the world.
Not only did he perform beautifully during the World Cup, but his speed and physique is a huge benefit to Liverpool.
Players will want to ensure that he makes it into their teams.
Not only was Hernandez on France’s World Cup finals team, but he helped Milan to an unexpected win in Serie A.
Speed, physique, dribbling and good shooting, Hernandez is the complete package.
He soon became a fan favourite, and we think he’s popular enough to earn a spot on TOTY.
Another Real Madrid player, Modrić helped out in both the Champions League and La Liga wins.
He also helped Croatia in their third-place campaign during the World Cup.
He’s an overall solid midfielder, and one of the best currently playing.
No points for guessing who Casemiro played for if we tell you he won the Champions League last year.
He’s now left for Manchester United, where the team is doing better than expected, considering the circumstances.
While he had a number of difficulties at first, he has shown he has the talent to succeed.
Kevin De Bruyne
De Bruyne is instrumental to Manchester City, serving 17 assists and scoring 18 goals in the last two seasons.
He’s often considered the best Midfielder in the world, and it seems given that he would appear in TOTY.
He may not be as popular with fans, but his performance is undeniable.
As we get onto the TOTY strikers, the three we’ve picked will probably not surprise anyone.
Messi not only captained Argentina to their World Cup victory, but he dorms an unrivalled offensive trio in PSG.
Some people consider him one of the best players of all time, and he’ll certainly make it onto the team.
We might have chosen Ballon d’Or winner Karim Benzema in this spot, but Haaland’s spectacular season will possibly help him pick this one up.
He has had a devastating impact on the Premier League since he transferred this season with his impressive goal-scoring record.
This helped him win the hearts of fans, and probably a spot on TOTY.
FIFA 23’s cover star is another player we are sure will make it into TOTY.
He scored a lavish hat-trick in the World Cup final that helped him secure the Golden Boot from teammate Messi.
There was a reason he was chosen as FIFA’s ambassador, he’s a spectacular player and a fan favourite.
