Yun Jin is a support character, and will want to use her elemental burst to help her team as much as possible.
This means she will need as much energy recharge as possible, but her defence is another important aspect due to it boosting her allies’ normal attacks.
There are several good options for this. Favonius Lance will help her radically up her energy recharge rate.
Here are some alternative weapons for Yun Jin to use are:
- Prototype Starglitter (four-star polearm)
- Skyward Spine (five-star polearm)
- Engulfing Lightning (five-star polearm)
Best artifacts for Yun Jin in Genshin Impact
We have chosen the best artifacts based on the same stats that are important for weapons.
Husk of Opulent Dreams is a great set for Yun Lin as the four pieces improve her defence stat and let her have an effect on combat even when off-field.
Two pieces of this set can be combined with two pieces of Emblem of Severed Fate, which will strengthen the energy recharge rate.
If you are having problems triggering her elemental burst, this is a great option.
The most important attributes of the artifacts are:
- Plume: Attack (main stat), Critical Hit Rate, Defense %, Energy Recharge, Critical Damage (sub stats).

You can try out some interesting compositions with Yun Jin, as she’s a flexible support character.
- Yoimiya (Main DPS), Yelan (Sub DPS), Yun Jin (Support), Jean (Support)
Yoimiya mainly uses her standard attacks, which are boosted by Yun Jin defence.
Yelan will add off-field support with her hydro elemental damage.
With the right artifact set, Jean can shred the elemental resistances making it even easier for this team.
