Mumbai : A strange problem suddenly appeared on Instagram today. Instagram has suddenly shut down for thousands of users around the world (Instagram down today) . According to popular outage tracker Downdetector, users started experiencing problems around 7am this morning. As of 8.30 am, more than 3,500 users have reported issues with the app. According to Downdetector, Instagram was not down everywhere in India. Most complaints have been made from Delhi and Mumbai.

Instagram confirmed that some users experienced issues with the app. The company said in a tweet, ‘Due to a technical issue tonight, people were having trouble logging into Instagram. We have resolved this issue for everyone as soon as possible and apologize for the inconvenience.

A user expressed on Twitter

Many users also took to Twitter to report issues with the Instagram app. “The app started to bother me in the middle of a chat,” said one user on Twitter. Another user wrote, ‘I was working on the app, but it suddenly stopped working.’ One user said, Isn’t it a good thing if Instagram doesn’t work for a few hours?

Downdetector highlights that most users were experiencing “server connection” issues, while some were unable to use the app. According to the outage tracker, some Instagram users also experienced login issues.
