New Delhi: JK Tires (JK Tyres ) specifically for electric vehicles (EV) has developed a complete range of smart radial tires which are used in buses, passenger cars (CAR), can be used for trucks and light commercial vehicles (LCV). The company said that these tires have been designed in such a way that they will meet the needs of electric vehicles. This Tire Raghupati Singhania Center of Excellence (RPSCOE) are designed and developed by the engineers of JK Tires said, ‘While manufacturing these tires, they have focused on technology, especially for electric vehicles. These offer ultra-low rolling resistance, excellent wet and dry traction, high durability and low energy consumption. Usage will be ensured. To complement the low noise of an electric vehicle, the tread pattern of these smart radial tires is designed using advanced FEA simulations for low noise and excellent grip characteristics.
Durable and energy efficient
VK Mishra, Technical Director, JK Tire & Industries Ltd. He said that with the growth of the electric vehicle segment in India, the development of EV related technologies is currently one of the major focuses of the company. ‘Our smart tires have been developed with an EV-specific next-gen design philosophy, making the entire range smart, low noise, durable and energy efficient,’ said Mishra.
