Pokémon TCG Pocket players can grab limited-time full-art cards in new Venusaur event
TCG Pocket is a month old, and there is a new event to celebrate the milestone.
The Venusaur Solo Battle event in TCG Pocket will not only help you build a fantastic Fire-type deck but there are some cool cards and accessories that you can pick up.
From Friday, November 29, 2024, until Thursday, December 12, 2024, you can take part in solo battles against Grass-type decks.
These range from Beginner to Expert battles, and there are various tasks for you to complete at each difficulty level.
This includes tasks like winning a battle with common cards and putting our opponent’s Pokémon to sleep.
There are a number of cards that you can win as part of the event including a rare Greninja card that’s perfect for a Water-type deck.
The Water Shuriken ability allows Greninja to snipe Pokémon off the bench where opponents think they’re safe.
However, the most wanted card of the set is the full-art Venusaur promo card with an adorable sleeping Venusaur design.
You can also earn shop tickets during the event, which can be traded in for various Venusaur-themed accessories.
Card sleeves, playmats, coins, binder covers, and card holders with Venusaur’s design can all be bought in the second week of the event with these special shop tickets.
The event will continue for the next two weeks, so grab your Venusaur goodies while you can.

Venusaur decks are some of the strongest in TCG Pocket at the moment, but the full-art promo isn’t the EX variant needed for these decks.
Instead, it’s the regular Venusaur which is not nearly as powerful as the EX version that the AI uses in Advanced and Expert battles.
It’s important to note that these promo cards do not count towards your Pokédex completion for the free immersive Mew card.
