Ring’s new 4K doorbell is $70 off for the first time
The newest Ring Battery Doorbell 4K Pro just dropped to $180 at Amazon, a solid $70 off its usual $250 price. That’s a real discount on Ring’s most capable battery-powered doorbell. It’s also the first time we’ve seen it go on sale (so far).
One of the best things you’ll get out of buying this doorbell camera is that it can record 4K video. Even better, it captures a wide view of your whole porch and makes it super easy to zoom in on your videos thanks to 10x Enhanced Zoom. This will make it easier to keep an eye on a package left in the corner, for instance, or check out a license plate of someone parked in front of your home.
Low light won’t slow it down, either. The camera keeps video in full color even after the sun goes down, switching to crisp black-and-white footage when it’s truly pitch dark out. That can make quite a difference if you’re trying to tell the color of someone’s clothes or a car. Live View and Two-Way Talk with Audio+ make it possible to switch to whoever is in front of your home, which will come in handy when you’re dealing with deliveries.
The one downside to getting this camera is that you’ll need to get a Ring Protect subscription to access quite a few features, like AI-powered alerts. It’s yet another monthly add-on to pay for on top of everything else, which can get annoying.
