27-inch Samsung Odyssey OLED G50SF
It’ll be a while before we get a Steam Machine, and buying a new gaming desktop or laptop right now is… not much of a value proposition. But fortunately, OLED gaming monitor upgrades are getting more and more affordable. Samsung usually has a bit of a “tax” on its prices, but today its 27-inch OLED model is down to $349.99 at B&H.
The Odyssey G50SF isn’t the company’s flashiest OLED monitor, but at 27 inches and 2560×1440, it’s hitting the “sweet spot” for PC gaming at the moment. With 180Hz of refresh, it’s a nice upgrade over basic gaming models, with support for both AMD FreeSync and Nvidia G-Sync if you want more intense cinematic games.
That’s pretty much it in terms of specs. The rear connections include a USB-A port, but it’s only for technical service. Otherwise, it’s a single DisplayPort, HDMI, and headphone jack. But I am glad to see a standard VESA mount, if you want to add a monitor arm.

B&H is treating this discount a little weirdly. The price shows as $549.99 on the site, with a $200 discount that only appears when you put the monitor in your cart.
