Users will be able to use this app within the time limit they set.

Instagram, owned by Meta, brought a new feature to its platform in 2018. Through which users were allowed to set daily time limit for use of this application. This feature was added based on the firm’s daily wellbeing tools. A total of 6 options were made available to the users as per this facility. These included, 15 minutes, 30 minutes, 45 minutes, one hour, two hours and off. Through the app, users can also set reminders to take a break using the ‘Take a Break’ feature.

Set daily time limit like this

1) Tap your profile in the lower right corner of the screen to access your profile. 2) Select the hamburger menu from the drop-down menu. 3) After tapping your activity option, select Time from the drop-down menu. 4) Then set daily time limit as per your need. 5) Then complete the process by tapping on Done.

Set the break time like this

1) Tap your profile photo on the app. 2) Select the hamburger menu. 3) Then go to your activity and then time. 4) Tap Set Reminder to take a break option on the next screen. 5) Then select the time as per your break requirement and tap on Done option.
