New Delhi : Blind people have to walk on the road with a white stick in their hands all the time. By ringing a bell on a white stick of this particular type of blind, they move aside the person in front of them. But now blind people will be able to recognize the obstacle in front with the help of smart shoe. So a student has succeeded in creating a shoe with a special sensor to recognize the road ahead for the blind. As soon as this shoe is worn, if there is any obstacle in front of it, the sensor of this shoe can hear a special kind of buzzer sound, so the blind can walk without any help.
Ankur Karmkar, a Class IX student of Roland Memorial High School in Assam’s Karimganj district, has developed these sensor-powered boots for the visually impaired. The sensor in this shoe alerts blind people by sounding a buzzer if any object comes in front of it and alerts them to the next danger. So blind people will be able to find their way more carefully.
News agency ANI has given news in this regard. Ankur Karmkar, a Class IX student from Karimganj, has created unique sensor shoes to help the visually impaired. We want to become scientists. So to help the blind we have made sensor boots first. We are working at various levels to make people’s lives easy and simple. A blind person wearing this shoe will be alerted by a buzzer when any object or obstacle comes in front of him. The mechanism of this shoe works on a small battery.

Ankur Karmakar said, ‘If there is any obstacle on the way, the sensor in the shoe will detect it and a buzzer will alert. When the buzzer sounds, the blind person will hear it and they will be alert and avoid the obstacle.
