First glimpse at beta version
The first glimpse of the emoji reaction was seen on the beta version last month. The Emoji Response feature first appeared on Android’s beta version 2.22.8. Now with the latest update, users will get a total of six emoji responses on WhatsApp: Like, Love, Laugh, Surprise, Sad and Thanks. There is currently no information available on whether users will be able to customize it.
Waiting for several days

- Now press and hold that message for a few seconds.
- Now you see 6 emojis, tap on any one of them.
