Dang, it’s hard to find a good, cheap laptop that’s actually worth using these days. But the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 5 has slipped below the $500 mark, and it didn’t have to cut its specs to do so. This laptop is normally almost $900 and it has pretty decent specs at that price. You get the aforementioned 16GB of DDR5 RAM, a 6-core Ryzen AI 5 340 processor, and 512GB of Gen 4 SSD storage, plus a roomy 16-inch touchscreen. With that new processor and integrated NPU, this qualifies as a Copilot+ PC that unlocks all those flashy new Windows AI features if you want them.
