New Delhi : Microblogging site Twitter (Twitter) has released its June report. This report regarding the action taken by the company on the complaints in the month of June (Report) has been issued. The company has taken action against more than 43 thousand 140 accounts for violation of rules only in the month of June. A maximum of 536 cases are related to abuse and harassment in this action. While 134 cases are malicious and hate related. According to the report, Twitter has become a social media platform for sexual violence, nudity and related issues.Social Media) has removed 40 thousand 982 accounts from the platform. Of these, 2158 accounts were removed for allegedly promoting violence and terrorism. Twitter received 724 complaints from India. These complaints are received through a local system created by Twitter. Twitter has taken action based on complaints received between 26 May 2022 and 25 June 2022. Twitter has taken action against a total of 122 URLs.

A total of 52 complaints were received by Twitter to end account suspensions. But no action was taken on it. The microblogging site did not act on any of these complaints and did not open any accounts.
