Mechanical keyboards offer a huge variety of switches – that’s precisely what makes them so appealing. However, many users stick to a single switch type out of habit, such as linear red or tactile brown switches.
It can be worthwhile to combine different switches to optimize the typing experience for each individual. When used correctly, comfort, precision and speed can be improved in a targeted manner.
By specifically replacing switches in certain key areas, the typing feel can be individually adjusted. Softer switches are suitable for the space bar, for example, while more precise switches are better for the WASD zone.
